Question Rgb remote controlled Fans receive 5v but not 12v

I recently bought new RGB fans for my PC but they’re not receiving enough power. They are getting 5 volts, but not 12 volts as they should. The fans are Coolmoon brand and they come with a remote to control them. That is mainly because they have LED lights in them too. I bought a Startech 6 pin sata to lp4 power cable adapter but it’s not receiving enough power from my 1200w crosairs power supply. They fans would usually use a 4 pin connector but these RGB ones come with 6 pin connectors because of the LEDs. Any ideas on why they aren’t receiving enough power?

Those usually come with their own fan controller. You connect the fans and the power to the controller and it runs the show.

I did all that and properly hooked up the fan header, but it’s still not receiving a full 12 volts of power and won’t function.
