I've looked all over the internet for the answer to a simple question, so I thought I would just ask it myself: does anyone know what the impedance (Ohms) is for the Plantronics RIG Surround set of Headphones?
The Plantronics website itself does not contain this information anywhere where I can find it, and neither do any reviews or other websites. The closest to any information which I have found is a review which states they have 'low impedance'.
The reason why I am asking this question is because I was thinking of possibly buying a budget DAC or headphone amplifier (or combination) if it would boost my sound quality by a reasonable amount.
I have read that headphones with a low impedance do not benefit from a new DAC or amp, is this true?
In addition, would you be able to recommend a solid DAC or amp for ideally under or around $100AUD?
Thanks in Advance.
