Rig upgrade dilemma

Hello.My rig i 5 4670k 3.4(4gh OC)/GPU GAINWARD GeForce GTX 780 Phantom GLH, 3GB DDR5.So i am looking for a upgrade got 3 ideas.
I upgrade my proc to i 7 4790k 4.4. 430 euros
I get same GTX 780 and SlI 2 cards.420 euros
Or i get PCI-E EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Superclocked ACX 2.0, 4GB DDR5(or card in this price range). 700 euros.
I am looking to get the best performance upgrade.
If u guys have any new ideas for my problem plz share it.

Is it just for gaming?
Which power supply?
Which motherboard?

The difference between the i7 and yours won't be that big. Maybe 2%

Sli will have micro stuttering, which I would never accept. The video ram will be the same like with only one card, no addition with the other video ram.

Mother board AS rock z 87 extreame 4
Power is chieftec 750 w.
Yeah it is just for gaming.My plan is to play fallout 4,trying to play on max 1080p.

Buy the game, if your current system can't handle it, upgrade. Bit I doubt it.

upgrade your GPU to the EVGA 980 this will provide you with the best upgrade for your money and this card can run pretty much any games on ultra at 1080px with no problem.
