Ripjaws V question: GVR vs GVRB

What is the difference between this two ram modules besides a slight latency difference?

Planning to get the Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7 and in their web page only the F4-3000C15D-16GVR is supported but in the G.Skill site the F4-3000C15D-16GVRB module says it´s also supported.
I am confused 🙁

The timings are slightly different, otherwise they are identical, go with the one that Gigabyte tested with their board to ensure compatibility.

Timings the VR is ever so slightly stronger, better binned chips
