[SOLVED] Risk of Gpu undervolting

Hello guys i have gtx 1080ti Gaming x and i want to undervolting it. But some one say: theoritically if u lower the voltage, more current will be drawn(P=VI)..and that could damage electronic components.
Now is undervolting safe?

Yes it's pretty safe it lower the current that card required i also undervolted my 5700 xt and temps drop significantly bcz of less power draw
