I just bought a new Steel Series Rival 650. I calibrated it after plugging it in and I decided to test it out. Upon testing I've come to figure out that when I am clicking the left mouse button, it only sends the input after I release the left mouse button. I've tried recalibrating it, updating the drivers, and looking at the mouse settings but have found nothing to fix the issue.

Any advice or help would be awesome, thank you!

If I understand your post correctly that is what a "click" is - press and release.

If you hold the button down on an object then you can "drag" things until the button is released and that is the "drop".

However, the desired/required behavior is that when the left button is held down then continuous "clicks" result - is that correct?

Your first mouse ? That's how thye always worked. press button and hold, marks spot and drags, execute on release.
