RMA and Plextor

Does anyone have any experience with RMA'g to Plextor, would appreciate any experience people have had.
I have to return my PX712a so im just interested to find out how it was for anyone else on the forum and if u can make any suggestions to speed things up at all.

I have had 3 Plextor drives over the last 8 years, and all are working, DAMNIT!!!
Except for the latest one, which is a PX712A, and it is by far the best one evar!

So I got me a pen and paper And I made up my own little sign</pre><p></font color=red>
 
I had a Plextor that was damaged during shipping. An internal part broke lose and was rattling around inside the drive. I RMAed Plextor and they happily replaced the drive with a brand new one. Turn-around time was very reasonable (I don't remember the exact amount of time).

As far as making it faster... Just make sure the RMA number is big and readable on the box you are sending back (I always print the RMA on paper in a big font and tape it to the box with shipping tape).

But you probably have figured out all that by now. Sorry I didn't see this post sooner. Perhaps it will still help someone though.
