Rocketraid 620: RAID 0 SSD-TRIM ENABLED?

Hi there,

I would like to know if my rocket raid 620 is capable of doing RAID 0 while using 2xsamsung 840 and have the TRIM function enabled?

Will I get better speed using the raid card rather than the on board chipset?

According to Highpoint, the Marvell driver for those DOES pass the trim command when in raid 0.

Its raid 0.. no calculations to perform so performance will be nearly identical.
Whichever one you find is easier to work with when the raid goes south would be my advice. Esp if the Highpoint can backup & restore a raid set.
