I want to get Rocksmith 2014 but, I'll need a guitar first. I can only swing about $100 for the guitar. I need suggestions for what I should buy...

I'm sorta new to all this..

At your budget, your best bet will probably be a Fender Squire series guitar (im assuming you are looking for electric not bass). The squire series are made in china i believe and don't have much of a resale value fyi. The fender made in US guitars run for 1.2k+ with the made in mexico ones at around 600-700.

Used guitars are an option but it may be tough to tell if there is anything wrong with the guitar without any experience.

Note: not an expert, just been doing my research to start playing bass guitar myself
