Hi All,

So i recently tried playing the new game S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 and on its first load it was building cache/shaders and all of a sudden i got a blue screen and everything froze...it was odd considering my rig can handle anything and everything and haven't had this happen before as i just build this rig earlier this year in March (specs enclosed)....i had to hard shut down and when i rebooted, the fans are not normalizing their RPM's and Noise....i have done everything i can (explained below) and they still don't seem to quiet down...would really appreciate some guidance and tips to fix this please and thanks. Do let me know if any other sys info is required.

Some Connected History:
Every time i have received windows updates OR Armoury Crate updates, the fan profile resets and i would hear the fans running at high RPM's (same as what i am hearing now) and I have to re-enable my AI Cooling II, auto tune the FanXpert, reboot my PC (sometimes twice) after which it would resolve the noise (fans would be quieter). I tried all the same steps but this time, its not resolving the issue for some reason....

I tried linking the pictures but for some reason its not letting me hence i am sharing the links here:

UPDATE: so weirdly but thankfully the issue seems to have resolved....all i did was a proper shutdown and waited 5mins...seems to be normal now....RPM's are normal now to 900 vs the 2100 they were.

:)

if something is/was prompting your system to run that far out of what you perceive as normal then there is definitely something going on that needs to be addressed.

either that or you really don't know what to expect as "normal" for your system and you would need to put forth quite a bit of effort into stress testing and configuring the optimal settings for this system.
