Hy all.

I use my Strix 1080 ti since November. A few weeks ago I noticed massive Frame drops in games.
The result after some Benchmarking (several Hours) is: by heavy overload the clock Drops about 500-700Mhz!!!
The voltage drops to 600mV, and the clock to 1100-1150 Mhz. I run the test with Afterburner on stock and with OC (120% TDP)
Test in CPU-Z shows an 50% use of the available resource.

Can this be the end?
(sorry for may bag English)

I don't recall where the utilization (of GPU) figures are on screen in Valley.
Could you confirm what kind of GPU utilization you were seeing throughout?

Clocks/utilization etc will fluctuate some, depending on the intensity of a scene..... but typically, it's still a benchmark, so you're near pegged ~100%.... assuming the presets/settings are appropriate for a 1080TI class card.

What kind of settings are you selecting with Unigine? Are you sure they're consistent across both cards?

Are you monitoring temps? An overheating GPU would certainly throttle clocks.

The boost aspect is set based on temps & power -- so please post your full system spec.
A GPU that's not getting adequate power, for example, may not boost as high & in some instances, will throttle.

CPU-Z isn't the best for "live" monitoring of resources under load etc -- especially not for a GPU.
HWMonitor or MSI AfterBurner would be better options there.

System:
CPU: Ryzen 1700 with stock wraith spire

Temps are max at 65-68 Celsius.

I will do some scrennshots till weekend with Afterburner and system specs.

Sorry, I had a lot of things to do. So done with benchmarking and pictres.

This is my 1080 TI overclocked, running Valley Benchmark (+100core, +450 memory,, 120%TDP) - https://gyazo.com/cf00757bff6b9feb9483d1f1a493c18b
The Card run on stock same result - https://gyazo.com/cc859fdfa09ed072fa56e9e29bee4ca7
and some gaming (Farcry 5) - https://gyazo.com/8d26bed4bfa79021c736b88c609e7d4f

You can see, the Core clock drops from 2012 to 1100/1300/1500 Mhz:

https://gyazo.com/697327c813213d274d33e48646d8d751

This is the same Valley Benchmark with my brothers EVGA 1070 FTW2 - https://gyazo.com/6328d3f3cf945c388a66925c0c02bc75

1080p Valley Bench result is about 92-95 average FPS with 1080ti, and about 85-90 FPS with the 1070.
I still think, my strix 1080 ti is not on 100%. and the coreclock drop every 40-60 second looks like bad.

I'm glad if you can help me (lots of work for me, so I can only take it back the next week where I Bought it)
