Anyone who has used ROG Z11?

Looking for people who have used the ROG Z11 case. I won a Newegg shuffle and had to buy this bundled with my 3060TI. It looks cool enough I’ll give it a shot but seems like a real weirdo. Not a lot of builds on PCpartpicker either.

Curious what MOBO people have used and what common issues are that you would’ve done differently.

Looking at a Ryzen 5600X with potentially this board-

any foreseeable issues?

Thanks in advance to whoever has used these.

Seems fine. Never used that case myself but any mini itx board should fit inside it.

Although I must ask, why are you spending a lot of extra money to make your PC small?

Apart from increasing cost, having a tiny case like that will introduce a lot of limitations to your system for very little benefit. Yes, it will be marginally smaller than a similar micro atx build, but at what cost?

Cooling will be bad, noise will be bad, clearance for components will be bad, and you’ll have to squeeze everything in there and do a lot of difficult cable management just to get it all in.

There’s a reason you never see builds posted in mini itx cases, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to build one. I’m not really surprised that Newegg are giving them away as prizes.

Sheesh. It’s not even any smaller than a micro atx case externally.

The integrated fan controller is a nice feature but you could get a much more functional and practical micro atx case with better gpu thermals for less than half the cost of this thing, and it would likely take up the same amount of space on your desk.

For true ROG fanboys only IMO.

If you got one for free, then it’s not terrible. The airflow looks decent even though the GPU is partly blocked. Just be prepared for a lot of cable management and don’t try to overclock your GPU in it.

He had to pay for it as they bundle the video cards with slow selling parts.
