Question ROM for the LY-2020-01 tablet

I'm looking for a compatible ROM (firmware) for my child’s LY-2020-01 Android tablet, originally running:

• System: EXdroid4.4.2_r2-33-2.1
• CPU: Allwinner A33 (quad-core Cortex-A7)
• RAM: 512MB DDR3
• Screen Resolution: 1024×600 (7-inch touchscreen, vertical orientation)
• Storage: 8GB NAND flash
• OS: Android KitKat 4.4.2 (EXdroid skin)
• Motherboard / Build.prop (unfortunately lost after factory reset, but may have shown something like a33-q8-v1.5 or a23-a70H in config files)
• Touchscreen IC (unconfirmed): Possibly ft5x06 or gt9xx

🔋 Power Supply:​

• Internal lithium battery (unknown exact specs)
• Charged via micro-USB using a 5V/2A adapter
• Tablet is about 1.5 years old – mostly unused before now

💽 Disk / Storage:​

• Internal: 8GB NAND
• Currently wiped due to factory reset & failed ROM flash
• No SD card installed at the moment

🔌 Peripherals:​

• USB connection to PC via PhoenixSuit (for flashing)
• Onboard front camera (works on some ROMs)
• Integrated speakers and headphone jack
• No external devices

🌐 Network:​

• Wireless (Wi-Fi) only
• Internal RTL8723BS (common in A33 tablets)

❓ Why am I flashing a ROM?​

The original Android system was corrupted after a factory reset (likely bad NAND partition layout or bootloop). The tablet is now stuck at boot or blank screen, so flashing a fresh ROM is the only way to recover it.

🧩 Problem:​

When flashing certain A33-based ROMs, the screen displays upside-down, and touch input is misaligned or completely broken. Likely due to wrong display or touch driver orientation (sys_config.fex mismatch). These devices often use:

• FT5x06 / GT9xx / GSL3680 touchscreen ICs
• 1024x600 vertical LCDs
• Display orientation set incorrectly in bootloader or kernel config

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List of all connected peripherals.

Wired or wireless network?

What/why is the reason for "downloading a ROM"? ROM is Read-only-Memory and that would be hardware if I am not misunderstanding something.

Link to that "ROM"?

As for upside down/flipped screen there may be a software configuration setting that restores the screen to normal.

More information needed.
