About 2 or 3 years ago, there were a few sites offering pinball roms for
download (not to buy - i've already got the blaks and a programmer :) ).

Cant find any now :(

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Thx

Which game(s)? Most all are available in several
places, except Gottlieb.

If you need those, ask around... ;)

Fred,

Well to be honest i feel like programming these for anyone here in the UK at
cost.... Roms at a couple of well known uk outlets are £17 (over $30US) PER
ROM plus shipping! (Course where we know that most games require at least 2
or 3 for an upgrade). In my opinion is well over the top for a 'programming
service'. It's about time i gave back to the community, since i figure i can
knock these out to people for around £10 (around $15) and they can have them
within 24 hours... hell i could even raise the price by £1 or 2 and pass on
profits to Shaggy and Norm at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas, or maybe if
there's a UK equiavalent.

Annoys me to see people charging what i think to be "over the top" from
something which should be "cost only".

Yes will probably be frowned upon, and i guess i'll end up doing just a few
for friends (Tz,Ww, taf, star wars etc etc). Just gets my goat, thats all.

Nothing at all wrong with that. Many, (most), game
ROM images are available from the original source
of the games. WMS/BLY images are available from
their site as well as the IPD. Same for DE/STN.

GTB isn't so free. You will have to depend on the kindness
of others for those....

You'll also have to build your own collection as others aren't
always so willing to give up all of their hard work "collecting"
them. (ESPECIALLY if you're planning to sell EPROMs.) ;)
