What's with the flames? I thought the article was pretty clear and the data pretty good. The most important thing is that these PSU's were all tested together under the same criteria (same lab, same session.) You can't seriously be telling me that mix-and-match reviews from various sites on different dates is going to be as accurate a comparison.

Yes I agree I just bought one on eBay (Silent Pro Gold 700W) £60+ 2H.
My first one ever, which was more than £20 new.
This article helped me find a good power sever so I hope. =)
I would have maybe bought a different / cheaper one but was not sure what to buy.

I know I'm writing this a year or more after the review, but after reading about the Seasonic X-750 Gold PSU, I didn't find mention of anything 'bad' about it. Today is Wed, May 23, 2012 and I was just getting ready to order it from Newegg (it's on sale right now), but this review has given me second thoughts. Why didn't this PSU get at least a THG 'Recommendation', or else some indication as to why it wasn't recommended?
