Question Router achieving 1100mbps but pc only going up to 155mbps

Today my virgin fibre optic broadband got installed that is capable of 1100+mbps however wehn I use my cat6 flat ethernet cable to hook up my pc straight to the modem, using SamKnows Real Speed (https://samknows.com/realspeed/) it tells me that my pc maxes out at 155mbps. I have checked the network connections in control panel and it states that the speed of the ethernet cable is 1gbps so I do not understand why I'm limited to 155mbps

I have used Speedtest.net and it tells me 700mbps but I have been told that doesn’t show what your device is actually receiving and that the best way to see the devices usage is samknows real speed

Whoever told you speedtest.net results are wrong is....wrong..😉

I still think your issue is that "cat6 flat" cable.
The flat cables are NOT standard wire diameter.

Flat cables are junk!!!!!!!!! Wires inside are too thin.
