Router DNS - not updated, flush dns

Hi,

I am having problem with my router, I have a website, and did some host switching, so I had to update nameservers, and I did it twice in 24h. And I was waiting like 24-48 for new propagation of nameservers which even happend in less than 24h. But there one problem poped up. I can't see the new propagation of my webpage, if I am on my home router, unless I switch my network, the nameservers point to the old host. I've checked and it's because of my router.

I did flush DNS on my laptop which didn't help, tried turning off router and pluging it back on (I read somewhere it might help), didn't help.

Is there a way to reset the dns of my router without reseting it to factory settings.

Depends on the router. I have seen some that have a feature to flush the DNS and some that don't. Do you know the brand/model number?

It might be easier to bypass the router's DNS cache and use a public DNS server in your network settings.

Thanks, I did the second option because I couldn't find the flush option on my router, changed the DNS settings for my networks settings.
