Router LAN port 1 not working!

Hi,

Until a last few days my router was working fine but suddenly this morning it stopped working.

The light on LAN port 1 is not glowing so I think the issue is with the port itself.

I tried connecting to other ports, the light is glowing but I am not able to connect to internet with any of them.

When I directly use the cable to PC it works, so the internet is working, just the router having issues.

My Router is d-link DIR-600M.

You can try a reset and a hard (30-30-30) reset but you may just need a new router. Without an LAN port you can't do a firmware update on that model though.

Bought a new router instead.. although its just beena year and D link has 3 years warranty right?

The warranty period is one year in the US and Canada according to THIS data sheet, however it is longer in other locations -- for example it is three years in India per the Amazon India web site.

You will need to contact your regional support for a replacement to determine if you can get a replacement via RMA if you are eligible.
