If a router is reset, as to be able to put in a new password, will the MAC and IP logs be cleared upon doing so?

If so, is there is a way to recover a password from the router without having to clear the logs?

Solution
On extremely poorly designed router - probably. Or of the existing router is configured to store the logs on external media. But even in that case, passwords are not stored in clear form.

On modern router - reset is reset, it starts with clearing of the NVRAM (the storage where all configuration and logs are kept).
