I see some tablets with Windows 8 RT and some have just Windows 8 on it. What is the difference? I am trying to look for a tablet that I could download Steam and stream the games to the tablet. Also is there a tablet worth buying thats not the Surface Pro 2 or up that because that is a little out of the price range.

Solution
RT version is for ARM processors and not Intel processors.

The RT is significantly less performance, and much less application support for it. Not certain, but I highly doubt the RT version can handle steam.

Any normal windows program will run on the pro series that is a full version of windows.
Only the special programs for windows RT will work on the RT version

I would recommend the nivida shield which can stream pc games and can still access android but unfortunately can't access windows obviously. As for the difference between windows RT and 8 is that RT is more designed for basic activities and can't install any programs that are not in the windows store. Win 8 is a full pc os that can run any program that is made for it.

I am not really an expert on win 8 tablets but I would not recommend it for pc games as they generally don't have the power to run them. If someone does know of any please share.
