[SOLVED] RTL8723be frequent disconnecting and disappearing

A wifi card in a hp laptop sometimes disconnects from wifi network and sometimes completely disappears. After disappearing we reboot to bring it back. and sometimes one reboot ain't enough.
It's not a wifi access point issue because no other device suffers from this. even the second hp laptop (different model) that got the exact same wifi card (RTL8723BE).
is the wifi card faulty?

Some notes:
OS reinstalls don't help
I used the driver provided on hp's website
I use the driver provided through Windows 10 updates
tried a live fedora 30 USB and sometimes, the wifi card is unavailable in it as well but is available in the second laptop.

Is the wifi card faulty and needs to be replaced?

It seemed that the wifi card itself was faulty. ended up getting a replacement.
Just check whether the one you already got has one or 2 antenna ports. and get one that's compatible.
