So I have an Acer laptop(the specs are at the bottom),

And I noticed that in most games like CS:GO or Warzone, the GPU usage is around 30-60% and the temperature never goes higher than 75 degrees. The CPU usage is also about 30-70% but the temperature goes to about 80-95 degrees(IF the TurboBoost is on). If I turn off the TurboBoost my CPU gets no more than 65 degrees and the FPS drops a little bit(5-15 FPS).

My main question is why FPS stays around 50-100 FPS in games(on low settings) with normal GPU and CPU usage and temps? As if the laptop does not specifically use the full power of the computer and keeps such a FPS. Drivers are up to date and NVidia settings are all set to high perfomance settings.

I also noticed that if you put the power supply scheme on the balance, the computer works a little better than if it was at maximum performance.

Always used balanced in laptops, IMO. High performance isn't worth jack if the extra heat load can't be kept down.

Looked around - as I'm not that familiar with laptops - and you may be having a similar issue to the user here.

Fix the cooling: clean out the laptop, clean off and repaste the cpu and gpu; sometimes the manufacturers do a crap job with the application.
A cooling pad - but really, it's the elevation off a flat surface that's helping, not so much the pad, so you could makeshift something to do that if you want.

Then there's the matter of the pagefile as discussed in that thread...
I couldn't find anything denoting what the difference is between the different pairs.

If you use Nitro Sense > Geforce Experience button and update the driver that way, it should be fine.
So, I did install the game SSD, and the only thing that changed is game's loading speed. The FPS is still pretty bad. I noticed that the longer I play, the further the FPS falls (first 80-100FPS after 30-40 minutes 40-60FPS). I think the processor is the problem. Repaste is needed and a cooling pad.

That doesn't sound like thermal to me; I feel that one would've happened much quicker.
This instead sounds like it's related to memory or storage.
Like, you play until it starts slowing down, and when you restart the laptop, the memory cache is cleared and it runs like butter until it fills up again.

Doesn't this game have a problem with memory leaks or something?

I don't really know, any way to check that? Also the CPU gets up to 97 degrees cause turboboost is on, and I think thats when laptop decreases my FPS...

Hwinfo? You can check physical and Vram usage/allocation.
Cut back on some of the background tasks, like the browser. Try lowering settings.
Check disk usage in Task Manager.

See, that would be happening much sooner than 40mins. It would be bouncing up and down all the time.
I do agree that 97C is a WEE bit too hot, even if it is in a laptop. If you can get it closer to 90C, that would be more reassuring.

Well, I can get the CPU to 60-70 degrees by setting the maximum processor state to 99%(disabling turbo boost), but then the FPS gets a little worse. IDK maybe its because of powerplan, maybe I should use balanced powerplan? And yes I will download HWINFO and update you.

Do you know how to set that up? Posts 13 and 29 mention it.
Moving Warzone to the SSD would help too, but that might be difficult on a 512GB SSD; there's only so much you can put on that.

Soooo, yep from now on I will use balanced powerplan.

Cooling. When I just bought this laptop I was really dumb putting it on the table and blocking all of the vents. Now I built something like a holder now there is a lot of space under the laptop.

Pagefile. My pagefile is on SSD and set to auto. I saw in that thread that I have to switch off the auto mode and set it to a fixed value.

Also we already discussed about moving WZ to SSD and I can tell that the stuttering and game loading speed decreased a bit. Also, no worries about space, from 512 GB I have 240 GB free, so the system operates pretty good.
