rtx 2060 poor performance

I just installed my new rtx 2060. I don't feel like it is performing well at all. In BF5, the card can bearably hit 60 fps at 1080p ultra with NO rtx on. Furthermore, in the options, the video settings have NO Ray tracing options to turn on. I have clean installed the drivers, and it is basically the same result. I am i missing something basic? Is this just how the card performs? So far i am quite disappointed with my purchase.
