[SOLVED] Rtx 2060 stopped working propely after Driver update

My friend has a 2060 and it randomly stopped working after he got it e.a:
It didn't show up in Task manager, but the PC worked, some games didn't launch but some DID work.
he has a 3700x so no intergrated graphics.

One day he took off the sidepanel and placed his webcam on the gpu for some reason and BAM that fixed it,
his gpu showed up in task manager and he got proper performance and all that good stuff.

Howerver today it stopped working again and the same behaviour started happening.

any idea what's up?

Switch off the PSU, disconnect the 6 or 8 pin GPU power connector (see if they are loose or discolored connections), remove the card and clean the contacts.
Reassemble and see if that helped.
