even just starting the game and putting a load on the GPU causes the fans to max out to 4000 RPM and i dont know much about GPUs or how to read these to figure out the cause

putting an outside fan with glass off sometimes slows it from happening but not always
appreciate any help, thanks

GPU are designed to run hot like that.

If you are concerned about the temperature, try to improve your computer case's airflow or lower your room temperature.
the fans sound like a helicopter going past max and then back down every 5 seconds, and never did this the prior years having this GPU
forgot its instant temp rises as soon as the game is started dont even get time to finish an intro and it maxs out everything with gpu going 80C+ and hot spot hitting 104-105C

EDIT: Added GPUZ readings and log file to original post
