Question RTX 2080 doesn't support 3+ monitors - 2160p, 1440p, 1080p, high refresh rates

Currently using a:

- 2160p 160hz
- 1440p 360hz
- 1080p 240hz

All are using displayport

Even if I lower the resolutions and refresh rates of these monitors, one of them will be deselected in Nvidia control panel and in Windows.

The only way I can get the three monitors to function is if I use HDMI for the 1440p 360hz or 2160p 160hz monitor, which will automatically drop the refresh rate, as the HDMI cable cannot support higher than 120hz at these resolutions.

Is this an issue with my RTX 2080 graphics card? How can I work around this?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Make and model of your motherboard? BIOS version for said motherboard?

- 2160p 160hz
- 1440p 360hz
- 1080p 240hz

Make and models of your monitors and the cables?

All are using displayport
What cables are you running from the GPU to the monitors?

Use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Got a link to the RTX2080 you're working with?

Also, as previously mentioned, I am using display port cables.

I can't tell you exactly which ones but they were purchased last year.

The monitors in question are:

- benq xl2546
