[SOLVED] RTX 2080 SUPER + I7 8700K LOW FPS

Hello to all !
I have the following specs:
RTX 2080 SUPER
Intel I-8700k 3.70GHz
32 GB RAM
700 W PSU
Asus Z-390A Motherboard
Benq Monitor 240 hz

My problem is that on rust I have 60-70 fps on low specs, even a friend who have GTX 1070 and i7 6850k with 16 gb ram and he is getting around 80-100fps.Can someone help me ?Thanks

I would run a benchmark first (user benchmark will do) just to see where the gap is.
P.S 3.7GHz is pretty low for 8700K, did you lose the silicon lottery?

1/ Do you have vertical synch set to on ?
2/ Benchmark your CPU with OCCT , does it peak at 4400 or higher ?

its just not overclocked manually is all I have the same cpu.

First thing I see that is jumping at me is your Ram speed, I suggest you reboot go to your BIOS ASUS menu and on the main page you should set your ram to XMP I, save and reboot and run the test again and give us the result

First off, you would want to enable the memory XMP profile in BIOS and turn Multi-Core enhancement to ON in there too...

its just not overclocked manually is all I have the same cpu.

I have one too, there is no reason to buy a "k" CPU if you would want to run it at stock base (not even boost) speed. Even Multicore Enhancement will push it to boost speeds with minimal alteration in settings.
