Hello,
I know there are a lot of similar topics but cant find solution for me....

I bought new (brand new) graphic card - MSI RTX 3060 and tried to replace my current gpu (1660 super) but PC doesn't start... BIOS LED Debug displays VGA. Beeps - 1 long 2 short (so, VGA problem..)

Old card works fine, without any problems.

My hardware:
MB: msi b450m pro-vdh max
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
Power: SilentiumPC Vero M2 600W (not so strong but should at least boot with this card, right?)

I triple checked that card is connect right in socket on MB, reset PSU a few times. Updated BIOS. Reset BIOS (ways: unplugged battery or connect bios pins for 10 seconds) but not help...

This card has two power socket : 8 and 6 pin. I have only 8 pin cable so 6 pin is empty -> maybe here is the problem? It shouldn't be....

Any ideas or help would be appreciated! :)

Yes, it will not work with that power supply. You need to get a good quality power supply that has the required connections. It's not like the motherboard EPS power sockets where the extra one is only if you are extreme overclocking. On graphics cards, if it's there, it NEEDS it.

Besides which, that SilentiumPC Vero M2 is a HORRIBLE quality power supply and you are EXTREMELY lucky to have made it however far you have with that unit, without something bad happening.

No. You can't just "buy an additional 6 pin cable". For two reasons.

One, if the power supply didn't already come with the required connections then the manufacturer felt it was not capable of supporting them, and if the manufacturer felt that then you should understand that it is a fact.

Two, as I said, that's a VERY poor quality power supply and even if you weren't having ANY problems at all, I'd tell you to immediately throw it in the trash and get something else. Honestly, when even the older green label Corsair CX models look good next to it, it's REALLY fricking bad. Do NOT use that power supply with your new graphics card if you have any hope of your graphics card lasting a while. Get a new one. Use the links I gave you to determine which models are worth considering.

If you need a specific recommendation let me know and tell me what country you are in and I'll give you some recommendations on options for a new unit.

And all of that is without even factoring in the PLAIN FACT that trying to use adapter cables, like Molex to PCIe 6 or 8 pin, is also an extremely bad idea. Might as well just pour gasoline on your PC and light the whole thing on fire if you do that.

Okay, SO I need replace my power supply, understood. Thank you!

If you can recommend something I'll appreciated. I am from Poland. Should I even consider different model of Silentium? They have a bit cheaper then others (ex. Corsair).
