Hello, I was recently playing on my laptop and experienced a sudden FPS drop. It turned out that the graphics card has error code 43. I tried various methods from Google to resolve this issue, such as using DDU, system backup, disabling and enabling the device, reinstalling drivers, and so on, but nothing worked. I believe the problem is related to the recent Windows 11 24H2 64-bit update.

My setup:

OS: Windows 11 Home 26100.2605
CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz 2.69 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop
RAM: 16GB

The latest information from the Device Manager:
Device PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_2520&SUBSYS_153A1025&REV_A1\4&27c18cfb&0&0008 requires further installation.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

It turned out that the graphics card has error code 43.
Use GPU-Z and if you see 0(zero)'s in multiple fields, then your GPU is dead, there's no way to save the discrete GPU besides finding a specialist who can resolder the GPU chip. Would probably be cheaper to find a replacement motherboard for your laptop.

You could probably try seeing if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates and maybe reinstalling your chipset drivers but a code 43 means a dead GPU.

Hello,

At the moment, the discrete graphics card is not showing up in the Device Manager, and consequently, I cannot access its information in GPU-Z. However, I saved the event log for the discrete graphics card before this issue occurred. Unfortunately, I cannot attach files directly, so I have uploaded the event log to Google Drive. Perhaps this can help to understand what the problem is?

Hi, I open GPU-Z and see only one zero in memory size field. Please help me, what I should do next?
