Hello everyone, I was going to make a build in a week or two and decided to use these components, I would like to ask if you got any advice regarding the build compatibility.

Also, I don't know if the motherboard and power supply will handle 7 RGB fans or how I would install them on both.
Do the case and CPU AIO cooler come with all the cables needed?
Should I install the ML360L on the front or top?
Is the Power Supply Wattage enough for all these components?
Should I use an artic thermal paste that I saved for 3 years or use the one that comes with the CPU cooler?

Do I need to buy a hub for all the fans' power cables such as this one? >> Cooler Master ARGB & PWM HUB 1 to 6 port << Or is it not needed?
In other words, can I make this build without a hub?

Get the 5700x. It’s close to the 5800x for performance but doesn’t consume as much power and should be easier to cool as the 5800x is known to run hot. I’ve got a 240mm aio on mine and it can still get to 80 under load.

Forget about the 3060ti. Here’s a 3070 for less. Stronger card. Even if it were more expensive you’d be saving money with the 5700x.

Would you say that the 0.4 GHz from the 3800x compared to the 3700x are not worth it? that was the only thing that made me choose the 3800x.

Also, I was planning on getting a 3080 but the problem was the PSU, I wanted to buy a 3080 but everyone kept telling me that 750w is too low for that high-end GPU.

On psu you definitely don’t want to cheap out. Cheaping on a psu can kill your system. As far as the 5700x, have a look. The 5800x is faster but I don’t think a lot.

If you are concerned on power, since you’d save on the cpu grab this.

disclaimer I’m using 3200mhz my own rig but for the money you might as will grab ddr4 3600 for about the same money as the 3200 you are looking at. This is just an example of what’s out there.

I found this comparison and one of the comments mentioned why the 5700x is better.
https://nanoreview.net/en/cpu-compare/amd-ryzen-7-5800x-vs-amd-ryzen-7-5700x

I looked for ddr4 3600 32GB but most of them are cl18 so I went for a 3200 32GB cl16 instead, because of latency difference.

With the PSU I meant that for a 3080 people used to recommend me a 1000w PSU, however, I think for the 3060ti the 750w is fine.
I don't know how much a 3070 would require from a PSU. I hope 750w is enough because going 100watts more is expensive.

Let me know what you think.

The reason people are advising on a bigger PSU si because of RTX 3xxx series and their transient power spikes. In some cases the higher end RTX 3080/ti/3090/ti can have power spikes that trip overprotections on a PSU. This makes the PC restart without warning.

As @ohio_buckeye suggested, a slightly stronger PSU give you more headroom. The RMX are renowned for being strong for these powerspikes.

The 3200mhz CL 16 are roughly the same in terms of performance with 3600 CL18. The difference in speed offsets the cas latency. However, with 3600mhz you can have a 1:1:1 ratio between the Mem Controller Clock/Mem Clock/Infinity Fabric clock. This give the best latency for Ryzen 5xxx series, and with the faster speeds and synchronous, it's better than 3200mhz CL16 asynchronous.

Just to be clear, I should get an RM 850 instead of the RM 750 and get a DDR4 3600mhz cl18 ram instead of the DDR4 3200mhz cl16 ram, right?

Is the PSU change needed for a 3070? or is it only needed if I get a 3080?
Or should I even upgrade it if I choose to stay with the 3060ti?
Also, would you recommend the switch form 5800x to 5700x too?

Thanks in advance, sorry for the multiple questions!

Not at all. Glad to offer advice.

IMO, I'd go with DDR3600mhz, CL16 if you can find it, or CL18 will do.

The PSU upgrade gives more headroom for these transient power spikes. If you are thinking of the 3080/ti then 850w RMX would be a good call. Gives you the assurance the 3080 will work well. The RM is by no means a bad PSU. It's pretty damn solid. But just a notch below the RMX. But still quality.

Yes, the 5700x is almost exact same performance of the 5800x. But the 5700x comes in at 65w. Very easy to cool. Stellar CPU.

Thank you ! I was planning on getting the 3070 vision oc because of the comment above from another person.
Would you say the RM 750W is enough for the 3070?
Also, is the RM 750W enough for the 3060 ti?

To buy the 3080 I would have to wait about 2 months and use a gtx 1060 during that time, but there are so many rumors about the prices going up so I would prefer to just buy a 3070 or 3060ti.

For the 3080 I was told that a minimum would be 1000W, was that a lie? haha

Yes, the RM is quality. A great PSU, defo sufficient for the 3070/3060ti. No worries there.

I would expect prices of 3080's to come down not go up. Hanging on gives you that option. If you are going for a 3080, make sure it's the 12gb version which is better than the standard 3080 and just a smidge behind the 3080ti.

The 3080s do have power spikes. But not in such big numbers as the 3090/ti. They seem to come in about 400-450w for the spikes. With your other components, you shouldn't really hit the 850w limit or over protections. With that said, 1000w gives you clearance if you want to OC anything like CPU/GPU.

Oh, I am not planning on overclocking anything basically because I don't know how to and I'm afraid of destroying my PC in the process. With those components would you say I would be okay using a 6year old gtx 1060?

Also, I was told that for a 3080 I should get at least an X570 instead of b550, probably another lie to buy something more expensive from them.
If the PSU needed for a 3080 is 850 I would probably try and wait for the 3080, because the 1000W PSU was too expensive for me.

This is the video I was about the rumors and then I asked around.
View: https://youtu.be/lkR7UkiSUUM
its at the start of the video.

The 3080 would last a while at 1080p. I’ve got a 6700xt and play at 1440p, don’t get me wrong performance is good but I’m actually looking at 6800xt and 3080 cards if I can get a deal and sell my 6700xt. Seeing prices on new cards and may just bite the bullet so I’m set for a couple of years. On the other hand I may just decide to pony up the cash and go for the 7900xt since my local microcenter had them in stock. Though my wife might not be happy with me.

Edit: another thought, if you go for the 5700x you can probably get away without the aio and go for a cheaper aio which may open the budget for you to go to a 1440p screen instead of the 1080p. Which trust me is a nice upgrade.

If you want to save more you could look at this board. It’s on the budget side but I’ve got the b350 version of this board and have been using it since about 2017/18. It’s been a solid board and I’m using my 5800x in it today.

Thanks but sadly I don't live in the US :c

=N82E16824012036

I’ve got this one and like it pretty well. But I was fortunate and got it on sale a few months ago for 250.

Thanks, I will check it out and see if I find a better deal in the next 2-3 months.

If you got any advice regarding the build or answers to the Original post questions please let me know.

Thanks for the help.
