Question rtx 3070 asus tuf

hello

i did a full clean yesterday, paste was dry, pads were torn apart and old

i did everything carefully i used thermalright pad 2.0mm
and mx-4 paste but the temps are to high on idle.

temp: 45c
hotspot: 50c
when i play a game for example BF2042

the temps goes 70c and the hotspot easily goes to 100c
i did everything again 3 times

but still high temps

maybe the pads? does anyone knows the right size for the pads?

the board looks fine with no damage

Your temps don't seem all to bad. Do you use MSI Afterburner to crank up the fan while your playing to keep temps in check.

if i open a game it cranks up to 90 hotspot and gpu temp to 83c
doing nothing
