[SOLVED] RTX 3070 cables

As the 3070 uses a 12 pin connector and it comes with an ugly 8 pin - 12 pin adapter so I've been wondering if I could use two 6 pin psu cables instead

No, it won't fit. However there are 3rd party cables available depending on your psu that connect 2 psu sockets and go straight to the 12 pin.

No, also only the founders edition/reference cards use the new 12-pin connector the AIB cards use standard pci-e connectors(2 8 pin in most cases).
