[SOLVED] RTX 3070 not detected please help

Hello recently Installed RTX 3070 to my PC Plugged everything in normally and powered up I can see the RGB Light turn on and fans only spin at boot then stops immediately. Windows doesn't detect new GPU and is using Microsoft basic adapter. I installed the drivers from the booklet but where do I put them if it doesn't detect the GPU device itself. Please help

Motherboard: Z370 - A PRO
CPU: Intel 8700
PSU: EVGA 700W

Everything is plugged in perfectly I have checked twice even the RGB light is on. The fans spin at boot and stop card is not detected in windows

Hello I Uninstalled the GPU through that DDU software. Rebooted still doesn't work Windows device manager still detect Microsoft Basic Adapter. Everything is plugged in perfectly I even replugged my old GPU (GTX 1060) and that works perfect. Am I missing something ? On DDU I clicked "Clean and shutdown" and no detection and then I tried "Clean and Restart" No detection...

It was a driver issue, once I downloaded the correct drivers it worked

So I think im having the same issue. 3070 fans not spinning, but lights are on. I cant download any drivers for it because they arent compatible. Wondering how you did that

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/ NVidia has all the correct drivers for every card.

it’s weird though. my 3070 isnt being detected at all. no output from it. can’t update drivers because they all state they’re not compatible.

After reinstall windows and all drivers, my card ( RTX 3070 inno3d chill x4) is working perfectly fine, but now pc, time to time ,rebooting himself during playing games.

Make sure you download the drivers from the brand of the GPU you got. For example I downloaded the driver's from Gigabytes Website under my selected card.
Also still use the DDU and uninstall any previous driver's. Then download the drivers.

Or it might have been a counterfeit GPU.
