Nvidia states required system power of 650W for RTX 3070

There has been talk of the 3k series cards having high transient power spikes similar to AMDs Vega cards which caused some high wattage power supplies to trip OCP protections.

I already knew about the spikes for last gen AMD GPUs but the 3000 series I didn't knew about that, thanks for the info. I thought NVidia have a better power management than AMD, I guess not.
One last question does the new AMD 6000 series have those power spikes too?
