[SOLVED] RTX 3070 vs RX 6800 for video editing and 3D rendering

What would be the better card for 3D rendering in Blender and video editing in Lightworks or DaVinci?
Optix should give the 3070 an edge for Blender Cycles rendering, but what about video editing? Does the 6800's higher memory help make it faster?

This thread seems to have some good information. I'd say that you wait out for some more reviews to come through. The first question in all of this is whether you're going to be able to find either of the GPU's in the thread's title. As of now, people are turning towards used GPU's from ester years.
