Hi all!
I recently upgraded from a GTX 1080 to an RTX 4080. I have dual 144hz 1080p monitors connected to the 4080 via DisplayPort, but only one monitor gives a display. My Nvidia control panel is showing both monitors, but the second monitor is unchecked, and it won't let me enable it. I'm on Windows 10 with Nvidia driver version 535.98. And note - I did try different DP cables and DP ports on the 4080.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I recently upgraded from a GTX 1080 to an RTX 4080.
Did you use DDU to remove all your GPU drivers off of the platform, prior to removing the GTX1080 from the system and then drop in the RTX4080? You're also advised to install the latest driver sourced off of Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

You should include the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU as well.

First off, thank you sir! Proud to be apart of this forum!

I did not remove the drivers prior to dropping the 1080 in. I removed the 1080, installed the 4080, then removed the old drivers while connected to my motherboard's integrated graphics, then installed the new ones from Nvidia's website. Drivers were installed by right clicking and running as Administrator.
