I have an RTX 4080 Super, I set the MSI Afterburner curve to 2520 MHz at 900 mV. When gaming, the on-screen display shows 2610 MHz. The card runs without problems, games do not crash. Why is GPU core - clock higher than curve?
As long as the Temps, Voltage, and Target power are all within spec the card will boots as fast as it can. So even dropping the voltage down to 900mV the card can still boost past those clock speeds.
