Ruling it out

A friends computer went out and he is Willing to get new parts were just trying to decide what he needs.

We tried his PSU in mine which worked. Same with RAM, GPU.

We couldn't test the CPU because we don't have another AMD board/CPU.

Problem: When powered on the fans light kicks on, CPU heatsinks light kicks on, then right back off. Trying to figure out what to replace.

How many watts is the psu also maybe try resetting the bios from the motherboard

Sounds like it's not reading the DRAM, my not be fully installed - try resetting the CMOS and reinstall the DRAM firmly
