Running 2 sapphire hd 7970 oc boost for vr??

Hi guys was trying to find more info about my gpu and if running 2 cards is good for gaming but more so if they would work well with vr? i cant seem to find much info. Has anyone had experience running 2 of these cards for gamming? ANy links info would be well apperiecated. Thanks

corsair vengenance 16gb
sapphire hd 7970 3gb oc wiyh boost
seagate 1tb sata 2 5400rpm 2.5''
crucial m4 128gb internal
Antec hcg 620w
cooler master hyper 212 evo 120mm
coolermaster cm full tower

i think this would have enough raw power for vr, but i would not suggest it at all. The older radeon cards had trouble with microstuttering which could lead to some serious headaches in the future

And stuttering wont be good for vr at all

no, the reason vr is so intensive is that you need high frame rates to avoid sickness when playing. if the game you're playing has little hitches every few seconds or maybe more then it wont be a very pleasent experiance

Thanks. Do you think my MB is ok to build a rig on for vr from it or do u have any advice on keeping the cost down when it comes to htc vive and a rig

you're mobo is fine, only thing i can see needing an upgrade is the gpu, and then in the future when better games come out the cpu should go to

Yea thx ive to keep researching till i can buy A card i wouldnt be able to afford twoo furys lol
