I understand you can easily run 3 monitors on a Sapphire HD 7870.... i have two crossfired and am struggling to get my 3rd monitor to display anything.

When I look in "screen display" windows is recognizing all 3 monitors, but when I attempt to extend display to all 3 I get an error message stating "unable to save display settings".

What am I missing here?

I'm using the DVI - Display Port - HMDI outputs.

Found this: "You can only set up 3 monitors using the 2 DVI and the displayport. I said displayport connector. If your monitor is not displayport you need an active displayport to dvi (dual link) adapter and Catalyst 9.10 or higher."
