Temporary...yes. But this does indicate the XMP solution might be bios/software related...not hardware. As shown, the boards and sticks can do it with manual "adjustments" within the XMP profile. Finding no RAM distributor is offering 4 stick DDR5 matched kits makes this a mute point for the "everyday" user though.

SPECS:
Asus ProArt Z690 WIFI Motherboard
i9-13900K
2 kits of 64GB G.SKILL Trident Z5 DDR5 5600Mhz 30-36-36-89 model F5-5600J3036D32GA2-TZ5RK (4 sticks 128GB total)

NON-WORKING CONFIG:
XMP fails with 4 sticks with BIOS 2204. you can get it to POST by setting voltage to 1.3v, reduced frequency by 400mhz to 5200mhz and set PMIC voltages to By per PMIC. However, memtest fails. I tried 5000mhz and still fails. tried to increase voltage to 1.35 and it failed to POST.

WORKING CONFIG:
I had success with the 4 sticks on BIOS 2004 with voltage set to 1.3v, 5200mhz (400mhz under) and PMIC voltages set to By per PMIC. memtest successful.

CONCLUSION:
Whatever Asus did with 2204 just breaks this memory. Even with the same configuration I had on 2004 which succeeded. I'm now forced to run an older BIOS version until Asus releases a newer one hoping it works with this memory.
