Running a 5V Fan from a 12V Header

Hey all,
Story is that I accidentally bought a Noctua NF-A4x10 5v fan (40mm 5V fan) when I was meant to purchase the ordinary 12V version. I've gotten in touch with the supplier so hopefully I can get an exchange but if I need to purchase a new fan I may as well see if I can run this one. I know that running a 5V fan at 12V will root it fairly quickly but is there a mod of some sort I can do to make it work? Just after ideas is all.

In Molex connectors Black and Red gives you 5v.

I had no idea, that's definitely an option then! Info is much appreciated

Black + Yellow = 12v
Black + Red =5v
Red + Yellow = 7V.

When I started building PCs, Molex was already redundant so I can't say I ever interested myself in finding out more. Very interesting thank you. Will 100% be doing this if the supplier isn't keen on an exchange

I recall that, but I'm gonna need the SATA output on this build, whereas I won't be needing the Molex!
