My friend built a new pc and gave me his old parts since he had no use for them.
Parts in question are:
MB: Asrock D1800M
CPU: Celeron J1800, integrated into the board, passively cooled¨
GPU: Integrated
120gb SSD
Ram: One 4gb stick of ddr3 1333
I am planning to set up this pc as a DNS sinkhole, my only problem is that fan of a psu i had laying around is extremely loud, so im thinking of unplugging it since the system is very low power and will be running without a case.
Most of these Celeron J SoCs are powered by laptop bricks, but mine isnt probably because it has a pci-e slot.
Could this cause any problems?
Thanks.
