I have an old Toshiba TDP-B1 LCD projector. It works great when I run it on an IBM Thinkpad running Windows XP, won't work when connected to my Lenovo Desktop runnings Windows 10. Is there any way to get it to run on my Lenovo desktop? Thanks.

What's your Lenovo Desktop model?
Are you connecting the projector to the motherboard (iGPU) or discrete graphics card?
Does the Lenovo Desktop has a VGA out port?

When the projector is powered on and connected to Lenovo Desktop, does it appears listed under Display?

My computer is a Lenovo Sharkbay 31900058 STD

No VGA port, usb only. I do have an VGA to USB adapter, it did not recognize the Lenovo

No, the projector does not recognize the desktop Lenovo, only the old IBM Thinkpad running XP

Does the USB to VGA adapter works on other computers?
If it does, then it could be the display drivers on the Lenovo desktop.
Download and install updated drivers.

Your desktop should have at least an HDMI port.
You could try getting a HDMI to VGA adapter.

By the way, when I looked into a Lenovo Sharkbay 31900058 STD they all have a VGA port.
Are you sure that's the model of your Lenovo desktop?
Is that the motherboard model?

Sorry, here is the right info. Yes, the adapter works fine on other computers. I don't see a VGA port anywhere on the Lenovo

You need to provide the model of your Lenovo computer (e.g. ThinkPad T495, ThinkCentre M70, IdeaCentre 5i, etc), a picture or list the types of ports available on your Lenovo computer.

This is my system summary, is this what you want?

That "system summary" is irrelevant, since any Lenovo computer could have the same specifications.
With the model number or serial# we could find out the unique specifications to the system.
If that unit happens to be a Lenovo All-in-One PC then it does have a HDMI out port on the back.
As a previously suggested, try getting an HDMI to VGA cable.
