Hi all,
I've been running into an issue lately and been ignoring it and thinking nothing of it but its gotten out of hand. My computer is using a very high amount of memory, currently 7.5 out of 8 Gb. and all i have running at the moment is task manager and chrome (though i know i have razer's software running in background) i wouldn't complain or even be looking into a possible issue but it has come up suddenly and i am now having an issue that if i leave my computer on for more than ~18 hours (9 of which is normally idling considering it is on while i sleep) i am forced to restart due to an issue when i attempt to do anything i am greeted with a message stating the there is not enough memory to complete this task and memory must be freed up. This all started a few weeks ago, i used to run an mp3 on loop all night to help me sleep but it would stop in the middle of the night when the computer ran out of memory, since then i have simply been leaving it running at night to see if the issue is still present the next morning and it is.

Currently the computer has been on for ~12 hours and i am very close to full memory usage. I also have set aside a max page file size of 40Gb which only 12Gb is being used according to windows. I have tried scanning and looking for rouge processes but nothing seems out of the ordinary.

I appreciate any help i can receive and thank you in advance,
Sam

well, since you have task manager out, which process application is eating up the ram?
if you cant find them (all you see only use small amount of memory (please check processes tab and services tab)

another one to check, go to performance tab (i am using win7 btw), then click "resource monitor" button (at the bottom), it will open up another window, and that one is easy enough to navigate. see what is causing the issue, but then again the things listed here is not really under our control

Additional: since i posted this about oh 10 min ago the computer has crashed (likely memory issue) i can tell you what i recall though,
svchost was using around 250k (now around 160K)
razor synapse 120K (stays pretty steady regardless of up time)
raptor ~100K (55k now)
razorstats 50K (36k now)
scvhost 2nd instance 30K (20k now)
After that it started falling off, i had resource open right before crash and i was watching as it ate all the free ram, moved it to standby and then slowly used it all up soon after closing resource the computer locked up and crashed forcing restart

hey, sorry for the delay, these will all be current as i cannot remember at time of failure yesterday
schost (localsystm) 205k
nacl64 200k
Razersynapse 165k
chrome 135k
chrome 131k
chrome 130k
chrome 122k
chrome 120k
CCC(catalyst control center) 120k
raptr 100k
chrome 78k
razor stats 65k
explorer 61k
after that it drops to less than 30k each
this is after only 25 minuets up time

edit: i am using windows 7, forgot to mention

yes, thats all from the memory tab of resource monitor and it is the commit though i can give you another set of data if it helps

I can also try and grab a pic of when its close to peaking out the ram, but the processes look a lot of the same, thats where my confusion is coming from.

yeah, i did a deep scan a few days ago, though today my norton lost its mind and said that i no longer am registered and i have to now fix that but there really hasnt been anything strange installed, really only thing installed was an amd driver but that was after the memory issue started, i feel as though the memory usage should stick out like a red light considering most processes are only using at most 200k kb and im looking for 5.5G of lost memory consumption. idk what i can really do at this point to try and resolve the issue. it causes issue when i game as well, the game will start to slow down and then the whole thing just locks solid and forces a hard restart
