[SOLVED] Rural Internet Little to no good options

Can I make my own internet? I have tried a few of the satellite ISPs but the ping is terrible. HELP

All satellite internet is going to have garbage ping times. If you can't get cable or dsl then you won't be gaming online with any sort of good experience.


I live in a smallish town where it took 4 months after I moved here to get 15mb/s cable internet and it's by far the fastest thing in town...

Sure you could offer to pay Comcast a few million if you're near a town, it'd still probably take years to finish though...

You could explore if there happen to be a WISP near you. They use a form of WiFi rather than the technology used by cell companies.

Of course if you are will to spend the money you are likely in one or more cell providers data networks. It works well it just tends to be very expensive if you use a lot of data.
