So just now i read this article on how to unlock my Sapphire Nitro RX 460 4GB https://overclocking.guide/amd-radeon-rx-460-unlocking-1024-stream-processors/ , so i tried it out after doing some research (backing up, flashing the backup/original bios, etc). And then i did the process, can’t say if it failed or suceeded, because after doing it, my amd driver isn’t recognizing my gpu, so i tried to reflash it with ATIFlash using my BIOS backup. After the flashing, i restarted my PC and... it won’t boot up! I turned it on and it beeped 4 times not showing anything. Please help! Need to do work on this PC. Thanks.

Specs :
AMD FX 8320-E
Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX 460 4GB
Gigabyte GA970A-D3P
16 GB RAM

(edit) Forgot to say that i’ve done this once and it worked (same card), but after i reset my windows, it suddenly becomes a code 43, AMD drivers cannot be installed even after reinstalling it several times. I fixed this once too but forgot how to do it haha. Please help me with the fix now that my pc is bricked. Thanks.

Solution
You can try it from a cmd prompt in windows

atiflash -p 0 biosname.rom

If that fails it can be forced (because currently that card is showing no bios)

atiflash -f -p 0 biosname.bin

I tried it directly on cmd and this showed up

adapter bn dn fn dID asic flash romsize test bios p/n

I'm sorry i couldn't upload an image, imageshack loading takes forever on me.

Can i flash the card here on cmd, and should i?

Yes it’s on the first slot. Now i can’t manage to get the flash drive method to work too, when i try to format it using the HP thing it always says device is write protected, i already tried to find a solution everywhere but it just doesn’t seem to work. What do i do?

OMG I just used your method and now MY PC IS WORKING! thanks so much for everyone with the help and support, I will now close the thread as the problem is now solved. THANK YOU!

AMD has re-enabled BIOS signature check, therefore this unlocked bios won't work with the latest AMD drivers. If i recall right drivers back to 16.XX.XX do work. I suspect that by reseting windows you fell into driver conflict. There is a work-around where you can bypass bios signature check with atikmdag-patcher. I have currently flashed my RX460 Nitro 4gb with the bios of Sapphire RX560 4gb Pulse and all drivers are working, no signature error conflict. Does it worth it? It's a marginal gain, but Pulse's bios made my card stable. Nitro was giving me constant black screens and was way unstable. Slight overclocks to memory clock was giving black screens. Pulse's voltage control is locked and Nitro is unlocked so i suspect it was a problem with the voltage regulator over the VRM. I am not posting to tell you to unlock, only for future reference as i saw hundreds of people having those black screens, and i am persuaded it's all up to voltage regulator. Cheers.
