RX 460 Recording problems

I'm trying to record overwatch, tf2, and some less-demanding games using obs. While I'm recording, everything's fine. I get around 75 fps, so a bit lower than normal but still fine. The problem was, when I went back to watch the recording it was lagging terribly. I'm wondering if this is a settings problem, or a driver problem, or if I just can't record with this card. (please don't tell me to buy a better card, not really an option, spent more than I had to get this build)

Probably settings. I record with OBS from time to time. I can have issues if I set the bitrate too high. Also it might be too much for your system if you are gaming at 1080p and recording 1080p at the same time. Sometimes recording it in 720p smooths out performance for me. Bottomline- experiment with the settings.
