[SOLVED] RX 470 with rx 580 bios ?

I recently bought new rx 470 sapphire 8gb from a computer shop in my town and my friend installed it. All the rx 470 that i looked didnt have this clock speed and memory speed. I checked the device id in google and it showed me rx 580 8gb.

If this gpu have got 580 Bios it could of mean that it been flashed upto 580 so when you bought this gpu did you buy it brand new or used in store because that GPU info says 470!.

@XxDarkMario20xX i actually am not sure if its new , he didnt gave me or show the box or anything.
@vov4ik_il - 1120 core clock, 2100 memory. Is it slower card with higher clocs?
Anyway ,before writing this I oc-d the card to test how much can it take. 1480 MHz core. didnt touch the memory.

The product ID was pointing to this card. To find out the real hardware you will have to pop the hood. In general, if it performs up to speed and has warranty - I would leave it alone, but if you are curious and ready for adventures and consequences - get new thermal pads and paste, pop the hood and find out what it actually is. Assuming you could tell Ellsmere from Polaris...
