rx 480 4gb and psu

i bought rx 480 4gb yesterday and i have psu 550 watt but there is no 8 bin in this psu i only have 6 bin if i use 6 bin to 8 bin how the gpu will work fine or ???

What psu? Brand, model,... if it doesn't have a connector that usually means it's not going to be able to handle said card. Also DO NOT get a 6 to 8 pin convertor there is a reason the 2 extra pins are there. A 6 pin cable won't be able to deliver enough power.

8 pin cables are often "splitable" making them 6+2. Check if you have cables looking like this, if so, just clip them together to get the 8 pin.

Upen up the case and check it. If it's a bad psu it might as well kill your pc when you plug the card in.
